General Recruitment Services

Structured search and selection for finance, audit, and professional roles in Uganda — from a clear brief through shortlisting, assessment, and onboarding support. We do not publish placement rates or claim exclusive mandates we cannot evidence.

A documented search process boards and donors can follow.

Finance and audit seats are often hard to fill because the work is technical and the file will be read. Kisaka & Company runs recruitment as a defined mandate from Kampala: a written brief, a market search, a shortlist you can defend, and assessments that test the skills the role actually needs — not a volume CV dump.

We support private companies, public bodies, and NGO or project units. Candidate data is handled under our privacy terms. We do not invent placement percentages, retainers we have not agreed, or named client wins. Policy and structure work sits on our HR consultancy page.

At a glance

What you can expect when Kisaka & Company is appointed to run a search.

Role-first briefing

We start from the job, the reporting line, and the skills the work requires — including ICPAU or donor-reporting literacy where the seat sits in finance or audit.

Documented shortlists

Candidates are scored against the brief. You see why names are on the list and why others are not, so a board or evaluation panel can reconstruct the path.

Confidential handling

Applications and referee notes stay inside the mandate. We share candidate information only as the search requires and as our privacy notice allows.

Recruitment services

Illustrative scope — the exact services available depend on the role, your governance, and independence rules. We confirm deliverables in an engagement letter before work begins.

Finance / audit search

Search for controllers, accountants, internal auditors, and related professional seats in Uganda — including roles that must read IFRS, grant reports, or an ICPAU-supervised file.

Shortlisting

Screening against the agreed brief, long-list to short-list notes, and a pack a panel can use. We do not promise a fixed number of hires or a published success rate.

Assessments

Technical tests, case exercises, and structured interviews matched to the role. Useful when a donor, board, or public-sector panel needs a paper trail behind the preferred candidate.

Discuss scope

Onboarding support

Offer-stage coordination, reference checks as scoped, and a handover note so the new hire and the line manager start with the same picture of duties and first-month files.

How we run the engagement

A simple cadence from brief to handover — adapted to how your panel wants to see candidates.

01

Brief the role

We agree the job, grade, location, and must-have skills; confirm who sits on the panel; and write the search criteria before any outreach starts.

02

Search & screen

We source and screen against the brief, keep a working long list, and raise gaps early if the market is thin rather than stretching the criteria in silence.

03

Assess & present

We run the agreed assessments, prepare shortlist packs, and support panel interviews so scores and notes can be filed with the appointment decision.

04

Offer & onboard

We help coordinate the offer, complete scoped checks, and hand over a short onboarding note. Appointment remains your decision; we do not claim a hire rate.
